"I stand 100% behind all women stepping into their full power..." - Veralucia Mendoza
Veralucia Mendoza is an immigrant from Peru, proudly connected to her Indigenous and African roots. She currently is the Regional Field Manager in NW Ohio for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio.
She's promoting positive change in women's lives as a community organizer. Through her adventures she meets wonderful people worldwide. She is passionate about disability justice and how we create access in all spaces. She is also a delegate with the Movement 4 Black Lives.
"I deeply believe in a world where we can all be free."
Why is it important to support women-focused organizations like Women of Toledo?
"Women have traditionally been marginalized just for existing, for being born as they are. Queer women, disabled women, immigrant women have all heard the message that they were also born "wrong" and must be fixed. I stand 100% behind all women stepping into their full power through access to economic opportunities, access to full healthcare, and full legal protections so they may thrive!"
