Spring BIG Ideas: #LeadHERway Youth Career Summit

This Spring 2023, Young Women of Toledo will host a half-day summit on career readiness - #LeadHerWay. A Youth Summit featuring professional Mentors and Leaders in our community, with an opportunity for young women (ages 12 to 24) in our community to learn the future of work.

The focus is on fields that are not traditional for women such as STEAM, Trades, and Entrepreneurship.

Engaging activities:

  • Keynote Speaker
  • Interactive Breakout Sessions with hands-on activities from various local businesses, organizations, and mentors.
  • Panel discussions.

The LeadHERway Youth Summit will take place on Saturday, April 22 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Secor Building 425 Jefferson 3rd Fl Toledo OH 43604. Chef Erica Rapp with Registry Bistro will be hosting us for brunch, followed by a Keynotes presentation. Breakout Sessions in the afternoon at the Women of Toledo space on the 3rd Floor (Girls Hub) and the Secor Building, on the 6th floor (Gallery on Six).

The YW BIG Ideas committee will set the course for the day and recruit partners and volunteers to make it happen!
