Partner: Women’s Equality Day, the Status of Women
In conjunction with the National Women’s Equality Day 2023, with the support from various advocacy and planning committees, we are organizing the Northwest Ohio 5th Annual Women’s Equality Day, the Status of Women.

About the Event
For the 5th annual Northwest Ohio Women’s Equality Day, we are planning to organize a Women’s Town Hall Meeting with our local women’s community and leaders on the status of women and girls in our region. With a focus on human rights as women’s rights, a discussion surrounding the areas of inclusion & access, justice, and security (health, safety, and economic empowerment of women and their families).
2 pm to 3:30 pm
Part I: Listening sessions with community organizers, leaders, and the community to understand the status of women & girls in our community.
4 pm to 6:30 pm
Appetizer & Open Networking followed by Part II: A Townhall Meeting with stakeholders, our local politicians, and public & private entities. It will give us an opportunity to share our listening session findings, about what’s important, and get feedback on what’s working and what we can improve.
6:30 pm
Part III: We invite all to be part of the after-hours cocktails/mocktails and play session.
