About the event

Overview:  Whether you work for yourself or a corporation, you have been affected by the COVID-19 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘. During this session, we will discuss pivot strategies that will help restore our business(es) on the other side of this crisis. As business owners we have to focus on a plan of business survival because we will not go back to business as usual.

The Speaker- Dr. Hope Mitchell - A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Mitchell attended the University of Rochester and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She obtained her doctorate of medicine from The Medical College of Ohio (MCO). She also completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a Pathology Fellowship while at MCO and a residency in Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Mitchell is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Mitchell is an advocate for mentorship, education and diversity in medicine. In addition to practicing and overseeing the daily operations of her practice, she creates hands-on shadow experiences for, builds relationships with, and especially encourages female students from middle school through college that have an interest in medicine. Dr. Mitchell’s excitement for mentoring grew into Girls Inspired by Hope. Her belief is that exposure to the medical field at the earliest age will cultivate confidence, opportunities and diversity in medicine.
