Join a conversation session with Sandy Spang, our local Commissioner of Business Services with Department of Economic Development, City of Toledo on pivoting with tenacity while learning about her latest initiative, EMRG grant - Emergency Microenterprise Recovery Grant for local businesses. The EMRG is a grant program designed to assist for-profit microenterprises to maintain or restart operations and retain jobs by providing up to $5,000 for eligible operating expenses incurred between March 1 and June 30.
Our Speaker/Presenter: Sandy Spang is the City of Toledo, Commissioner of Business Services and Toledo entrepreneur. Spang is the owner of Plate 21 an independent coffee house in the Beverly neighborhood. Spang is responsible for various activities and duties in support of establishing and retaining collaborative relationships with the existing business community, promoting the city to attract new businesses, supporting the expansion of existing businesses, and vigorously expanding and seeking out new businesses for the city.
