My name is Dr Elizabeth Julius, a native to Erie, PA, but proud to call Toledo my home for the past 2 years. As a female Chiropractor and athletic trainer, I am proud to stand out in a field that is dominated by men. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a chiropractor, and nothing excites me more than hearing young girls tell me they want to be a chiropractor when they grow up. I love seeing children's faces light up with delight when I tell them I am a doctor.
I knew after I received my Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, I wanted to own a practice. I believe in treating the body as whole and therefore my theories resonate well to the science, art, and philosophy of chiropractic care, and I wanted a practice that follows these values. I have a unique approach, and place so much value on the relationships with my patients.
When I came across the opportunity with Chiropractic Associates of Oregon in October 2017, I knew I had to take it. It’s hard to believe I am already celebrating my one-year anniversary at the end of this month. The best part of my first year was the relationships I developed. Seeing some patients monthly, even weekly, you really start to know them, and being able to help them eliminate pain and gain mobility is very rewarding.
Another aspect of my job that I am passionate about is giving back to the community. I am committed to be an outstanding member in society by being devoted to my community and encouraging others to live a healthy lifestyle. I was very honored to have been asked to be involved with several Women of Toledo events including MOM and the Women's Empowerment Summit. I enjoy speaking to young women of Toledo and encouraging them to pursue their goals. Each event I attend I learn more women's stories and feel proud to know women are making a difference in our world!
